Dear Santa... Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
This year I've been busy!
Last Monday I gave wonda a kidney (1000 points). Last Saturday I caught a purse-snatcher who stole thunder_pichu's purse (30 points). Last week I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). In November on a flight to Colorado Springs, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Wednesday I pulled over and changed insanitys_soul's flat tire (15 points).
Overall, I've been nice (1006 points). For Christmas I deserve a Nintendo Wii!
Sincerely, x_rinon_x | |

Hey I still alive
Hi everybody, Yes I am still alive. Been busy on my own little path, trying to keep busy so I don't realize when I stand still that my life is trivial. The busy worker ant. Worry about the wife, my almost 3 year old son and the next addition to the family coming in mid January. Our income will be stretched thin and I have to plan for my kids future at the expense of my mental health....but what the hey its life! Still trying to dream about buying a Home in Hawaii with a an extra room for nanny Wonda. Hey maybe next decade or two if I live so long. Still formulating my exit strategy on life...need to leave something for my heirs to eat with... Next year will be so painful, lower income, triple mouths to feed..how do people do it? I leave you fans with this message and chuckle for those who understand.... _Dele chell lín na vîl gerin_ Navaer for now, Rinon |

Cause I got faith of the heart I'm going where my heart will take me I got faith to believe I can do anything I got strength of the soul And no one's gonna bend or break me I can reach any star I got faith Faith of the heart |

Faith of the Heart Log
Captains log, Friday March 25, becalmed at sea. Its been now one year since I set sail on the sloop 'HMS Faith of the Heart.' I will attempt to write down my odyssey as they happen. Yesterday, after 5 months of becalming winds, we have a hint of fresh air coming from the east. It is my hope that the winds of change has started and I can make landfall in Hawaii in 48 months. The crew is getting restless and my first mate waivers in her trust of me to make the right decisions. Our provisions are fine but I must keep monitoring it so it will not get low. My crew has named the eastern wind "Ocala' and it has potential to help alleviate the slow degration of our provisions as we can fish in better waters. It has been quite since St Augustine's attack in December. I do not know where that pirate has gone to. Captain Copeland of the ship-of-the-line HMS 'Old Kings Road' has assured me they he will take care of the matter. I have not spoken with him since January and pray for his soul. Ithil is a more Trekker than me :(
Trekkie Appreciator Survey Says... |
| You don't mind Star Trek and have obviously watched a couple of episodes or movies, but you don't live or breathe the world. Not to bad! You've managed to tread the fine line between sci-fi buff and Star Trek nerd (otherwise known as the difference between enjoying Star Trek for its entertainment value and running around with a batleth quoting Klingon battle poetry). Don't forget to rate this test! |

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 57% on Trekkies |

You are the Hermit card. The Hermit has chosen a solitary spiritual path. He shines light on his inner self and, by this means, gains wisdom. The Hermit's home is the natural world and it is by being in tune with that world that he learns the laws of nature and learn how they operate within himself. His path is a lonely one as he lives in silence and has for companionship only his own internal rhythms. But those crossing his path are touched by his light and wisdom. Though often alone, he manages nevertheless to instruct those who meet him and guides those who chose to follow him on a path towards enlightenment. Practice, Practice
My name is Rinon _Rinon i eneth nín_ ** I like blue _Im sui Ihûn_ I like the forests of the mountains _Im sui i thoer-en-orodrim_ I wish to speak the Elvish Language of Thingol and Gil-Galad. _Aniron peded i lam edhellen Thingol a 'il-Galad_ **Notes: The use of _i_ here is another controverial point. It seem in some of Tolkiens work he uses the article _i_ before a genetive ie. "the your name". Of course in English the_i_ drops out in the translation. So any time you say my house, my horse, etc. you use the _i_ before the noun when possession is shown. To minimize confusion, I like to use this construction for formal sentenses but alot of people use this all the time. Maybe I too will do this. In case you see this structure, now you know. |

A Light to you in dark places
Original Verse: "A Light to you in dark places" Translation: _Calad allen mi haid nyll_ Literal Translation: " A light to/for you in places dark" Notes: _mi_ is actually _vi_. There is some disaggrements in the Sindarin dictionary that _vi_ is the true form and actually _mi_ should be the definition for "in". In this transaltion I use _mi_ where else prior I was using _vi_. |
